The Best Movies and TV Coming to and Leaving Netflix in April 2017

The highlights of what’s arriving on Netflix in April 2017

In terms of new additions, Steven Spielberg’s classic World War II movie Schindler’s List arrives on April 1, Tropic Thunder, Cool Runnings, and Gremlins. On April 8th, the excellent, Oscar-nominated animated movie, Kubo and the Two Strings, comes out.

Also debuting in April are Netflix originals such as the next special from comedian Louis C.K. (April 4), the Adam Sandler movie Sandy Wexler (April 14), and Bill Nye Saves the World Season 1 (April 21). Additionally, the Mystery Science Theater 3000 revival debuts on April 14.

Okay, now here’s the bad news. If your getting a number of top new movies and shows, of course, that means there are favorites on the way out.

What major movies all leave Netflix on April 1? Now is your last chance to watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, The Princess Bride, and The Usual Suspects.

Also heading out on the 1st are Superman movies such as Superman II, Superman III, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, and Superman Returns.

There are a lot of good shows leaving in April also. Top shows leaving include Seasons 1-9 of The X-Files, Seasons 1-8 of House, and Season 1-7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
